  • Tile
  • Shake and Shake Tile

Should I get heat cable and/ or snow guards?

Both are amazing additions to help give your roof another line of defense. Heat cable is designed to melt the ice and snow on the borders of your roof where the home’s heat doesn’t reach. This is great so that you don’t get ice damage on your soffit, fascia or gutters. Snow guards increase friction between your roof and snow. This is beneficial because it lets the snow leave your roof in a more predictable fashion, rather than by a sudden rooftop avalanche, causing damage to your soffit, fascia and gutters.
